Adjust Menu

The adjust menu contains items for flipping and rotating the current terrain heightmap.

Flip Horizontally

Flip the terrain heightmap along the horizontal axis. This function has no options.

Flip Vertically

Flip the terrain heightmap along the vertical axis. This function has no options.

Rotate 90° Clockwise

Rotate the terrain heightmap 90 degrees clockwise. This function has no options.

Rotate 90° Counterclockwise

Rotate the terrain heightmap 90 degrees counter-clockwise. This function has no options.

Rotate 180°

Rotate the terrain heightmap 180 degrees. This function has no options.

Rotate Custom …

Rotate Custom

Rotates the terrain heightmap by the specified number of degrees with the specified options.

Angle: Specify the rotation angle in degrees. -360.0 to 360.0
Clockwise: The angle degrees are specified in the clockwise direction.
Counter-clockwise: The angle degrees are specified in the counter-clockwise direction.

Style: The rotation quality.
• Nearest Neighbor: fast and low quality.
• Bilinear: high quality.

Maintain original size: Whether to crop the rotated terrain to maintain the original dimensions.

Edge fill: The method used to fill the blank edges around the rotation.
• Minimum: the editor minimum value.
• Center: the editor center value.
• Maximum: the editor maximum value.
• Low: the current terrain heightmap low value.
• Mean: the current terrain heightmap mean average value.
• Median: the current terrain heightmap median midpoint value.
• Middle: the current terrain heightmap middle value.
• Mode: the current terrain heightmap most common value.
• High: the current terrain heightmap high value.
• Custom: the value specified in the Custom fill value control.
• Duplicate: duplicate the current terrain heightmap value around the edge.
• Fold: fold the current terrain heightmap tiled value around the edge.
• Mirror: mirror the current terrain heightmap tiled value around the edge.
• Wrap: wrap the current terrain heightmap tiled value around the edge.

Custom fill value: The custom edge fill value.

OK button: Apply the rotation.
Cancel button: Cancel the dialog.

Copy button: Copy the device properties to the clipboard.
Paste button: Paste the device properties from the clipboard.

Reset button: Reset the dialog controls to their initial values.
Default button: Set the dialog controls to their default values

NOTES: Rotation by 0° and 360° is no rotation and simply returns with no change
For 90°, 180°, and 270° rotation, the Rotate Custom dialog simply calls the fast 90° and 180° rotation function.
